Theory of Karma and embodiment of Soul

In  the journey of time Soul or Atman remains  kept changing the body to show the karmic reflection of one's deed.This journey is cyclical until the salvation is attained till then with the new body or Deh experiences the past karma's  reflection in the present life.How this  process accomplished is very interesting and  only explainable through the knowledge of Vedas  and theory of Karma .

Sri Krishna says in Gita 2:20

The soul never takes birth and never dies at any time nor does it come into being again when the body is created. The soul is birthless, eternal, imperishable and timeless and is never destroyed when the body is destroyed.

Then who is it that takes birth?

It is the body takes birth and not the soul. As you have quoted already that

Sri Krishna says in Gita 2:22

Just as a man giving up old worn out garments accepts other new apparel, in the same way the embodied soul giving up old and worn out bodies verily accepts new bodies.

Atman or Soul is the universal truth that never created or destroyed . Sun is manifested as the soul of the creation , when soul reaches the planes of Saturn or Karma, affect of karma personified into a jeeva on the plane of Jupiter as a Jeevakaraka , when the jeeva reaches on the plane of Mars which represent Deh or body , a new body is obtained by the Soul.

So in the order of creation  starts from Sun --> Saturn --> Jupiter --> Mars

As the Jeeva gets the body reaches the plane of Moon which is a mind of the jeeva and under the influence of North node Rahu which is maya or illusion and Ketu being south node of Moon and karaka of destruction or breaks. So Jeeva is filled with the Mind, Maya and spiritual insight in the Jeeva.

On the next level it reaches on the plane of Venus , a planet of luxury and desires and afterword reaches to Mercury plane where intelligence and intellectual fill the Jeeva.

So Jeeva is completing its journey on different planes and a new body is born with the soul having past karmic influence and filled with the Maya of the life.

Journey of the soul is followed on the different planes as follow:  

Sun --> Saturn --> Jupiter --> Mars -->Moon(Rahu-Maya or illusion+Ketu -Spiritual) --> Venus --> Mercury

So its the body which takes the birth again and again until Ketu gives the exit of the soul to salvation where journey of the soul gets completed .

Its the born body interpretation is done on the basis of birth planetary configuration. Divinity action is understandable by this divine science and we owe our gratitude to the ancient sages for their deep renunciation and meditation and allowed this divine science to be useful of the humanity.

Vedic astrology is based on the theory of karma and the chart represent the X-Ray of the life of the native. Life journey of the native is explainable through this science and one should seek the guidance from a revered Guru of astrology to overcome all the negatives of karmic reflection.
